Dear Yuletide writer,

I am easy to please and I want you to write a story that you are excited about! But if you are interested, here is some info about the things I like in fic and the things I like about each of the fandoms I requested.

General likes: I love AUs, happy endings, melancholy endings, found families, friendship, ensemble fics, porn (although this is never required for me to enjoy a story), good dialogue, slow-build sexual tension, and world-building. I like stories that critique problematic real-life stuff like sexism and homophobia.

General dislikes: incest, non-con, humiliation, misogyny, a/b/o, mpreg.

Things I like about the fandoms I requested:

The Bright Sessions
I adore this podcast! Caleb and Adam are my favorite characters but I love all of the rest of them too. One of my most favorite things about The Bright Sessions is the emotional growth the characters go through from ep 1 through the rest of the story. I would love to see a missing episode from the show, an adventure that Caleb and Adam have while they are getting to know each other, a scene from Adam's point of view... :)

Dark is Rising Sequence
I recently re-read a few books from this series and remembered how much I loved them as a kid. The mystery and magic of this universe is so deep. The friendship and deep feelings between Will and Bran is probably one of the most important things about the series to me and I would love any sort of story that explored more of the connection between these characters.

Red White & Royal Blue
I just read this book a week before signing up for the exchange - I'm still reveling in how perfectly this story hit all my buttons. I love all the characters, I love the way that serious themes are addressed but not in a way that feels hopeless or downtrodden, I love the potential for fic told from an alternate POV, the potential for AUs, the potential for future fic...the list is endless.

The Course of Honour:

I LOVE THIS STORY. I love the emotional depth of the main characters. I love how smart Jainan & Kiem are in different ways. I have such a huge soft spot for Jainan's science knowledge.

Crooked Media

I am a casual fan of the Crooked Media empire but I read everything Ronan Farrow writes, religiously. I always love true-to-life fics and that is especially true in this fandom; I would enjoy a story that explored how these two make things work amidst the pressures of their jobs, life in America in 2018, etc.

I requested Lin-Manuel Miranda & Daveed Diggs. I love them both dearly and think they are both geniuses. I would love to see a story explore their time performing Hamilton together, being brilliant together...platonic or romantic, whatever you want.

Star Wars RPF:

I'll be honest, basically I am requesting this because Diego Luna is beautiful and Rogue One made me cry. I requested him and Riz Ahmed, and I would love a story about them having fun on set, or getting into mischief after filming wraps up, or whatever you are interested in writing about.

U.S. politics

My main request for this fandom is just that Donald Trump is not president by the end of the story. Haha. Hah.

But seriously. This is the story I want: ONLY HAPPY ENDINGS. Trump gone, Mueller downing Tums for a stress-induced ulcer, and Michelle Obama having an awesome day on a beach somewhere. A little justice in the world, some happiness. The works.

Dear Yuletide Author,

This is the first time I'm participating in Yuletide, and I'm really excited! I am kind of new to fandom & feel like I sort of did things backwards, as I wrote a bunch and put things on AO3 before I ever got a Livejournal (If you want to see the things I've written, I'm blue_spruce on AO3 and blue--spruce on tumblr). I'm looking forward to feeling like I'm actually part of things, this fall. :)

I'm pretty easy to please...I will try anything once, basically (and if it's well-written and believable I'll probably come back for more), so don't stress. I'm sure I'll love whatever you write.

Some things I love

I adore good dialogue, slow-build sexual tension, and world-building. I also am weak for fanworks that critique/subvert problematic real-life stuff, like sexism and homophobia.

My fandoms:

Молодежка | Junior League

I adore this show and these characters and would be happy with literally any sort of story, gen or slash or AU or *whatever*. Tell me about Makeev's backstory, or the kinds of things Misha worries about at night, or how Sasha got into hockey. Give me teenagers exploring their sexuality in the shadow of Russian anti-gay laws -- Misha and Dima spend a good amount of time being frustrated by the girls they're chasing; maybe they get each other off sometimes in the hotels for away games, just as buddies. Or imagine what would have happened if the on-line girl Dima was trying to hide from his brother was actually a boy.

If you are looking for a specific prompt, I am so, so fascinated by what a story focused on the Russian anti-homosexuality propaganda laws would look like in context of this show. All the characters are *agressively* straight, canonically, but what if, for one of the characters, that's just for show? (See: Some things I love.)

Bourne Movies

I want a window into Bourne's head during the second movie after Marie is killed. Basically, I guess, a character study. As angsty/dark/chilling as you want.

The Bourne movies are pretty much my favorite trilogy ever, and I am endlessly intrigued by Jason Bourne and his quest to reclaim his humanity. The moment when he burns her pictures aches. How does he keep going after that?

Good Will Hunting RPF

I would really like a story where Ben and Matt are hooking up during the filming of Good Will Hunting because it's fun and easy and a way to let off steam and they *need* that -- they've never been part of a project that mattered so much to either of them before, and the pressure they're under, both from internal and external forces, is a lot. No angst, please.

I would love to read a story where it's clear how much they care about and are proud of each other and the work they've been doing. And if you wove in anything from the movie itself or the city or their history there, I would love you forever. <3
