blue_sprucesorry i'm late with my letter. i am terrible at writing these things. /o\
things i like!
fic that feels realistic. snappy dialogue, characters who communicate. stories that have a connection to the place they are set in. porn (with feelings!!), but also g-rated and/or platonic stories. emotional connection is my favorite thing. usually i gravitate towards fic that is rooted in real-life events, but AUs are cool too.
things i don't like!
infidelity - if a story is about a person who is canonically in a different relationship, i'd be happy with either handwaving them away or reading about negotiated poly relationship. i'm not interested in reading stories that tear down canon wives/girlfriends. i'm not super fond of most fics with tropes like A/B/O and mpreg.
I don't mind ambiguous endings. in general, i am not a super critical reader.
specifics:
ben smith/tommy wingels: for this pairing i would really love a story that mentioned something about tommy's work to promote You Can Play. or a college AU. or a PWP.
ben smith/matt lombardi:
i was on the fence about prompting this pairing -- if you write a story with matt as a character, please consider locking it to AO3. :) as far as what i'd like to read about these two, i love stories about long histories of friendship!! other ideas: stories firmly settled in a specific place (boston college?). canon college stories?! college AUs! also PWPs. **i am not into girlfriend bashing. please either write matt's fiance out of the story or treat her nicely.**

i love love love lady characters who know what they want & who stand up for themselves; m/f relationships with good communication; fic that gives lady hockey players the respect they deserve. also: smut. also laughter.
