yuletide 2018

Dear Yuletide writer,

I am easy to please and I want you to write a story that you are excited about! But if you are interested, here is some information about things I like in fic and things I like about each of the fandoms I requested. :)

General likes: I love AUs, happy endings, melancholy endings, found families, friendship, ensemble fics, porn (although porn is never required for me to enjoy a story), good dialogue, slow-build sexual tension, and world-building. I like stories that critique problematic real-life stuff like sexism & homophobia.

General dislikes: incest, non-con, humiliation, misogyny, a/b/o, mpreg.

 

 

Things I like about the fandoms I requested:

The Course of Honour:

I LOVE THIS STORY. I love the emotional depth of the main characters. I love how smart Jainan & Kiem are in different ways. I have such a huge soft spot for Jainan's science knowledge. 

The Bright Sessions

This has been my favorite podcast of the past year. Caleb and Adam are my favorite characters but I love all of the rest of them too. One of my most favorite things about The Bright Sessions is the emotional growth the characters go through from episode 1 throughout the rest of the story. I would love to see a missing episode from the show, an adventure that Caleb and Adam have while they are getting to know each other, a scene from Adam's point of view... :) 

Crooked Media

I am a casual fan of the Crooked Media empire but I read everything Ronan Farrow writes, religiously. I always love true-to-life fics and that is especially true in this fandom; I would enjoy a story that explored how these two make things work amidst the pressures of their jobs, life in America in 2018, etc.
